Abstract: In social media, Russophone immigrants in different countries discuss their favourite foods for New Year, their fusion recipes and the psychological functions of the traditional festive dishes which they cook when they are away from home. These discussions reveal that food is a powerful trigger of predominantly positive nostalgia.
