Abstract: This paper focuses on a significant actor in Finnish milk promotion – the public health organisation ‘Maito ja terveys ry’ (‘Dairy Nutrition Council’), active from 1958 to 2020. It aims to explore the gendered and nationalistic imagery in the Council’s promotional material and to discuss how nationality is intertwined with gendered representations in that context. |
